Shark Bites – news & sightings
Wanna get up close & personal with sharks this weekend? The Monterey Bay Aquarium hosts Shark Days Feb. 23 and 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m (included with Aquarium admission).
During the two-day event, visitors can:
- Attend sessions on great white sharks, hammerhead and tiger sharks, and whale sharks
- Hear shark stories from experts
- Watch an aquarist dive and feed leopard sharks, sevengill sharks and other sea creatures
- And more…
A detailed schedule is available on the Shark Days website. The site also features a free Shark Days logo that can be used with iron-on transfer paper (for inkjet printers) to create your own t-shirt. Visitors who wear the design to the Aquarium this weekend will receive a prize.
