Book Buzz – DARK SURF news & goings-on
My first novel, DARK SURF, has been optioned for a movie! Super exciting!!!
What does that mean? It means that a company has optioned the novel manuscript and reserved the right to make DARK SURF into a feature film.
And we’ve moved beyond that… A professional screenwriter was hired to turn the book into a screenplay. This is not an easy feat, by the way—taking a 400+ page book and squeezing it into a 100-page story. The screenplay is now complete! So, the next step is for the team to enter the marketplace for financing and distribution.
There are still many steps that need to happen before DARK SURF will be on the big screen but that’s the goal!
DARK SURF is the first book in the DARK SURF series. A publication date will be announced in 2014.
