DARK SURF wins 2nd place in General Fiction in 2016 Northern California Book Festival; RISING wins honorable mention!
The 2016 Northern California Book Festival selected DARK SURF as the Runner-Up in General Fiction, and recognized RISING with an Honorable Mention in the same category. This is the DARK SURF novel’s 7th award and RISING’s first award.
The Northern California Book Festival “honors the best books of the fall.” It considers fiction, non-fiction, biography/autobiography, how-to, compilations/anthologies, photography/art, children’s, cookbooks, poetry, spiritual, young adult, business, technology, unpublished manuscripts, wild card, travel/wine/ food, and regional lit.
I’ve been invited to attend a private awards ceremony in Sonoma in November. Books & wine? A winning combination!
