Book Buzz – DARK SURF news & goings-on
You’re invited to the RISING Book Release Party on Sept. 17th in Monterey, Calif.!
The RISING Book Release Party will be held Saturday, Sept. 17th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Pierce Ranch Vineyards Tasting Room, located at 499 Wave Street in Monterey (between Cannery Row and Lighthouse Avenue).
During the event:
- Get a coupon for $1 off a glass of Pierce Ranch Vineyards wine when you buy a RISING or DARK SURF paperback (coupon is valid only during the event).
- 20% of all paperback and T-shirt sales will be donated to Surfrider Monterey.
- We’ll have RISING and DARK SURF paperbacks for sale, Graysuit T-shirts for sale, free drawings & more.
- No host bar.
- Free & open to the public, so bring your friends!
In RISING, the second novel in the DARK SURF series, several characters come to the Monterey Bay to battle—and a couple of characters get the opportunity to drink amazing wines from local wineries. Pierce Ranch Vineyards is one of four Monterey County wineries featured in the new novel, along with a few other familiar locations that locals will recognize and appreciate!
